Cydia sources not appearing?

Hey all... relatively new to jbing and such, only just started with Spirit. I jailbroke my own iTouch without a problem, but I tried doing the same for my brothers, but in Cydia, no sources are shown? I even tried to add sources in but it gave and error about not finding the repository and that I "am trying to add a legacy Installer repository (these are not supported). Any help would be greatly appreciated.

that may be because you have attempted to install sinful/beyouriphone repos which are/were home to "cracked" cydia applications! (correct me if i am wrong!)

i don't think you will get much help here i am afraid!

You're wrong.

He said he wasn't getting any repos. It could be due to massive traffic on Cydia right now due to the Spirit Jailbreak.

I reread your OP. If you JBed your brother's a month or so ago, then some of the repos have been shutdown (beyouriphone, for example). Do you have the normal repos that you get when you install Cydia?

JBed only yesterday. It has normal repos from Cydia installation.

Im having the same issue on 3.1.2 3G. In my cydia I have no sources pre-loaded. Can anyone help me?

You used spirit aswell?
