All gaming dads unite! I have 2 little ones and one being 4 weeks old currently.

I just do not have the time and mostly energy to even turn on a console anymore. I currently own the PS4,XB1,Wii U, and an Nvidia Shield for their streaming service.

I utilize Gamefly and never buy games because I know I will never replay them and will be a waste of money for me.

My queue on GF is over 50 games long and so many good titles to get to let along the monsters like Witcher 3, Fallout 4, GTA 5, and others that will take a year alone to finish.

I am highly considering selling all my consoles and doing casual gaming on the Shield with their streaming service and see what fun little games the ATV4 will have.

Any other dads wanna join the club?!? :)

My son is five months old next week. The only serious gaming time I have these days is when wife & kid fall asleep before me. I really need to adjust my purchasing habits to this new situation. I am sitting on a big pile of unopened games, that I will hopefully get around to playing before the PS5 releases. :)

I've gravitated towards games that are quick/easy to jump in to and out of such as Madden or World of Tanks. Anything with a story mode usually gathers dust because I'll lose track of where I am in the story.

What? You have time to play? How do you do it? O_O

My 5 month old daughter is not leaving us any hobby time, as she prefers being entertained by us. Laying by yourself and play for just 10 minutes? Ooooh no, booooring...

If I finally have an hour to spare, I usually go to the gym to clear my mind. In the weekends I do have a bit of time to play, but so little that I just play small indies on my iPad on the couch.

I am with you and really looking at selling all of my consoles versus having them stare at me like "hey, play me!!!"

At least then I can get some cash for the little ones, save money on my gamefly subscription, and have a peace of mind that gaming just isn't happening right now.

O sure, why not.... can you please upload all those images with price so that I can decide on hitting a purchase.

I was into Xbox and ps games before my kids were born. I sold them before they were born. I see my other friends still managing to squeeze in some time to play but my kids are younger than theirs. Mine are 6 and 3. I imagine there will come a day when my son gets older that we will be playing them again. He already has a ds and kindle fire that he plays on. We have a wii but it hardly gets used. He usually wants to play his ds or kindle. It's so much quicker and easier to fire them up instead of waiting for the wii to start.

Oh dude I'm part of the club , used to be a huge gamer but once my two came along it all toned down for me too .

Don't give up on them tho pal my two little Herbert's are now 8 and 5 and I have some great times with them both when it comes to gaming .

Once they go off to bed then the daddy games can come out and I've really started to get back into it .
