I use iOS 11 on my iPad with no complaints.

I’m mustering up the courage to bite the bullet on iPhone as I always do in the weeks before full public release.

For those who are already using nothing but iOS 11... is it ready?

It's solid but there are still a few quirks. The other day I couldn't preview a PDF in mail, for example. But otherwise it's working well.

I'm only using it on half my devices. But I intend to install it on my primary device in the next week or so.

From the other topic:

Don't do it yet if you want your device to be a workstation. The latest beta is pretty good in terms of performance and battery life but it still has the few odd annoying issues like apps freezing or the occasional springboard reboot. My phone is especially plagued with parts of the UI dying on me (lock screen music controls don't work when listening to music, CC volume slider desyncs, headphone icon remains stuck or invisible in the status bar etc.).

You are this close to a GM, might as well wait until that hits devices in the near future.

If you are curious, go for it. I have used iOS 11 beta since PB3 on my main iPhone & iPad, no worries. Tomorrow we might see another beta before the GM, so in the very worst scenario you will have to just bear with it for three more weeks.

There is lag and UI hitches on my iPhone 6S. And about once a day on the lock screen are not notification and time and I have to restart to show it again.
On my iPad Air 2 there freeze UI during multitasking about once a day and freeze notification centre too.

So I do not reccomend, but it is usable.
