I've been experiencing daily or near-daily kernel panics ever since I received my MacBook Air a few weeks ago. There is really no third-party software installed as of yet, except for Google Chrome. Even after upgrading to 10.15.5, the panics still occur.
They appear to occur randomly -- I've experienced them both in the middle of use and when returning to the MacBook after its been asleep. There is no record of these kernel panics in the Console app or in the /Library/Logs/DiagnosticReports folder. I've read that when a kernel panic log doesn't show up here, it could indicate a hardware issue. There are other details that make me particularly concerned it's a hardware issue:
I haven't reinstalled the OS, reset NVRAM, etc. so I guess that's my next step. Just curious if anyone else is experiencing similar issues.

- it's an upgraded MBA with the i5 and 16GB of RAM.
- no third-party software installed
- I've looked online and the file trap_native.c (from the log below) seems to be a hardware fault handler.
