So August's Monthly Financial Reports came out today (for me at least) but the numbers are off. I have two applications in the store, with the daily reports my numbers added up to 1100 and 215 for the period between 8/3 and 8/30. But my Monthly reports show 946 and 174. A difference of 154 and 41 sales respectively. Which comes to a difference $136.50. Is it normal for the daily reports to be off by 15%-20% over the course of a pay period?

I've found the same thing on mine. fairly big differences. Which makes me wonder if they will carry over to the next pay period or what'll happen?
I don't see why the daily stats should be inaccurate in any way. I mean, either someone clicks buy and the payment goes through or they don't, right?
    I'm confused

I just went over my numbers and there's a difference of exactly 20% between what the daily stats for the period adds up to and what they say they're going to pay me. Hmm... I'd love to see what other peoples experiences are, but it indeed looks like it'd be a good idea to keep a close eye on the numbers.

By the way, is there a good reason august 31st isn't included?

    Cheers.
I just noticed that the numbers for Europe aren't out yet (for me at least) which would make up for a big part of the missing sales.. I guess for now, the best thing is just to wait.
So am I correct in understanding that the sales in the daily stats will indeed be paid to us, just not during this pay period, but the next one? And any idea when we'd recieve payment for this round?

actually, with the european numbers added to it just now it adds up to being only one less than the daily stats :)
    All is well!

Lucky. I break my numbers down to US and International. The numbers I posted were all from my US sales, so I don' think factoring in Europe will solve my problem.

While we're talking European numbers, apple sent me an email saying that I have to send in a hard copy for European Entities. Has anyone else got this? And does it mean I have to send that in only if I live in Europe, or just for the European report?

My thinking is that it's if I live in Europe (which I don't) ...but I wasn't sure.

We got paid last month for the European part and didn't send in any hard copies. We're based in the US.

Thank you, that pretty much confirms it then. :) It's probably to do with some european tax laws if you're based in europe.

    Thats definitely a european-residents-only regulation!

It's got something to do with taxes and not paying VAT if you sell to someone who..blablabla...didn't really get it all! :D

Well, my mails for Europe and GB clearly state that you only need to send a hardcopy if you are a european entity (= resident). Did you receive different mails?

I live in germany and I sent in hardcopies last month and got paid...it's not that big a deal after all...and it feels kind of cool to send an invoice to Apple...

Someone on this forum mentioned that it takes about 15-20 days to get your direct deposit after you receive a monthly financial report (i.e., if the financial report is for August, you'll receive the direct deposit at the end of September). Should I be concerned that I still haven't received my payment for August? I met the $250 requirement for at least one region.

Maybe, I have received all of my payments already. What country are you in and what regions do you expect payment from?

I'm in the US. I received a financial report for Canada, United States, "Rest of World", Europe, Australia and UK. I'm only expecting payment on the US report. Was I supposed to do anything once I got these reports?

Nope...I assume you've checked for a direct deposit from Apple in the bank account you gave them, right?

Interestingly enough, I guess I only had to be patient one more day. The money was in my account when I woke up this morning. So, it appears, at least this month, that it takes 3 weeks for the deposit to happen... in my case. That's good to know. Thanks for the assistance admanimal!

how long does it take for european devs ?

i still have not received the reported august earnings

i understand it probably takes longer than us but how much longer ?

as i was aware of the invoice issue i asked apple a template for this invoice and was told the invoices are not needed anymore for european devs

but us devs seem to have been paid some time ago
    how about europeans ?

As someone who hasn't published an iPhone app yet (but hope to within the coming weeks), I must have glazed over something in those agreements and readmes. So, stupid question: Based only on what I read here, as I could find no information elsewhere, is it true that you don't get paid if you don't sell at least $250 worth of apps in a month? Or does it mean your direct deposit just gets delayed a month until your app generates over $250? Or is it something else entirely? It's probably stupid of me to think that Apple will claim all the sales if you make less than $250 a month, but at the same time, it sounds like something a big corporation can get away with.

Where can I get this and other relevant info on my own? Is it in the Program Portal?

Well, we've only received payment for the US (middle of last week), even though we sold more than $250 in all other regions. So it's not just developers outside of the US that are still waiting.

It's in iTunes Connect which you can access once you've paid the fee. To quote:

"NOTE: If you did not accrue any share from sales in a region for a given month, that financial report will not be made available on iTunes Connect. If your share from sales for a given region for a given month are less than $250 (USD), or the equivalent in local currency, we will withhold payment until you accumulate more than $250."

I imagine there's a timeout clause somewhere or you can request it be transferred... they can't hold it indefinitely.

Thanks. I've paid the fee and have been accepted, but I haven't gone into iTunes Connect yet. One thing I forgot to do. :)

Is anyone else still waiting on deposits from August? We've only received the US deposit, which was around 3 weeks ago. Today we've received our first financial report for September sales, but still no deposit for any of the other region sales from August.

Thx for this info! Are you 100% sure about this?
That the invoices is not needed for European devs?
That text in the f. reports gave me a real headache when
    i read it!
