My dad has a macbook (not sure which) but I know it has a mini-dvi to dvi adapter.

I have an apple DVI (full) to Video adapter I don't use anymore.

Is it possible to plug one in to the other so that his macbook can be hooked up to his TV (which doesn't have DVI or HDMI)? Will the two work in series.

Ok, my Dad's computer was actually display port.

It wound up not working.

It might be his Mac Book with display port can't send the analog signal.

But, there also may be a problem with dvi-video adapter, as it wouldn't work with my macbook pro (as it is designed to do). the problem could also be with my macbook pro's external video port.
