Hi

I have a real problem, my superdrive in my Mac Mini has stopped reading all of my DVDs, it just keep ejecting them out of the computer. The superdrive is a "MATSHITA DVD-R UJ-835F". If anyone knows where I can buy a new superdrive online in the UK, could you please post a link. I am searching now, but am not having mush luck at the moment. I really do not want to pay apple prices, if you know what mean.

How old is the drive? Do you have AppleCare?

If it's still under warranty, Apple should fix the drive for you.

Edit: Just noticed your sig....so it's definitely out of warranty, but is it covered by AppleCare?

No apple care I am afraid. If anyone out there knows what DVD drive I could use in replace of my current superdrive, please advise.

I know you can get replacement drive from OWC and fastmac.

I am trying to find out which place to get the superdrive. OWC or Fastmac.

Any one know which place is better(service, reliability and shipping time.)?

@=..........?, great username, I was wondering if you'd mind being called "." for short? 😛

The superdrive is a 'MATSHITA'

Best pronounced by de emphasising the 'MAT'
