Hi,
I have a 15" MacBook Pro with a damaged logic board (purple lines are displayed on the screen and wont turn on).
I still have every original product that came with the mac (including box).
I was wondering would I be better off selling the laptop as a whole or separate and sell. If I do separate and sell can someone tell me what exactly I can sell if I list what is in it?
Based on the box it is a:
2.2 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 2GB memory, GeForce 8600M GT graphics, 128MB VRAM, standard 120GB hard drive

Thanks heaps

Have you taken this MBP to Apple for accessment of the the problem?

See the thread about Nvidia chips. Apple may repair this machine for free.

I took it to a MacWorld store in Melbourne they wanted $200 just to look at the Mac so I didnt bother because they said they needed to replace the logic board which would cost $1200 on top.
Does this mean that if I take it to a mac expert it wont cost me a cent to fix?

Thanks I will if their site ever goes back online, Ive been trying to access Australian support for the past 3 days but the keeps timing out
