Damaged Macbook Charger!!

Came home pluged it in to my mac book, it doesnt work. I look at it and wtf. It's freakin torn at the end.

Does applecare cover this?

Yeah. Its more common than you would think. Apple has redesigned the strain relief on the power supplies. AppleCare should take care of it.

I had that same problem on my brother's white macbook. I called into applecare knowing I was out of phone support. They sent me to a specialist and I got it replaced.

The same thing happened to my charger overnight. I'd heard some ppl saying that they had to pay £60 for a new one but mine was under a year old so it just took it into the apple store and they replaced it straight away.
