Damaged Windows install cds?

I'm not asking for a pirate version of windows, but does anyone know if there is a way (perfably through Microsoft) that I can either get new window's CD's or download Windows in all of it's entirety? I still have my Window's packaging but the CD itself is cracked. So my delemia here is, will Microsoft allow me to download Window's legally and use the product key that I own to reinstall it in on my Mac?

I'd ask a friend if they have the same discs. The biggest problem is that OEM, retail, and volume licensing use slightly different serial keys.

What kind of copy of Windows do you have?

Like Eidorian had said, you didn't mentioned the type of Windows copy in your possession but if you're referring to XP SP2, you can download it through Microsoft, http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/sp2/default.mspx. Will it not be possible for you to ask any of your friends to give you a back up copy of their Windows CD? Just asking.
