I've heard Tim Russert mentioned as a possible replacement. I would definitely be interested in CBS again with Tim as anchor.

IMHO the networks should go back to real journalism. Actually report the news again, just the facts. Just leave out the biased commentary.

I have to agree with wdlove. Cover more topics, and just report the facts. That might actually help to broaden American knowledge of the world.

At least Rather had the integrity to step down after making major misstatements based on forged documents. Unlike someone else I could name... 😛
