my ibook G4 has a FSB of 133mhz, the new macbook is 900mhz faster, but seeing as i have no job (full time student) and have no time to get one, it looks like im stuck with this PPC POS for the foreseeable future... i envy the employed...

Just get a job. Lots of (most?) students work and go to school at the same time. Many work just to pay for school.
