We say more grip, not ergonomic

It's a more firm fit in the hand. Doesn't feel slippery when most people hold it.

I know it's subjective, but while I loved the iPhone 4 and 5 series, I wouldn't say comfort or grip was their strength. I tended to grip it lighter because of the sharp edge and even (painfully) dropped and damaged my iPhone 4 in its first week, even though it had a case!

That concept picture is blurple. 🙃

It only available for the “Pro” line? The 5.4” iPhone 12 will not have the dark blue? Oh, no! Which one to buy?

It'll be interesting if Apple varies the color every year. It could give people their obvious "new phone!" status symbol while eliminating Apple's need to shuffle form factors (which they have really backed away from). I would think developing and testing the new color's durability would still be costly, but nowhere near changing form factors.

Or maybe we'll see them establish a few colors and then cycle between them.

Or maybe they'll just stick with blue.

Anyone who thinks they can predict Apple long term is in for a surprise, I think.

Meh. Still love the classic Silver/White.. such a beauty. Only iPhone it didn't look good on was the 5/5s.

I figured it out! If it not in “midnight blue” for the 5.4” iPhone 12; will pass on the entire 12 line for this year!:)

bring back the jet black color from 7 plus and remove wireless charging. I'd buy in a heartbeat.
Like wireless for overnight, but definitely agree they need a pure black one again. I didn't really need to upgrade hen the 7 came along, and then it was gone already the next year :'(

Apple is taking a page out of the automotive manufacturers play book regarding product colors. I think it’s smart that they offer colors like midnight green or this new blue color for a limited time. They create a buzz even if the majority of people end up buying white / silver or gray / black versions. I remember how their initial gold iPhone was polarizing and in short supply, but then became such a popular option that it stuck around in various versions for multiple years.

Ugly. Another dark and drab color. I want to see those pastel yellow and green colors on the Pro and Pro Max
Agree, it will probably look mostly black or dark gray like my MG 11PM. Want a brighter blue but not the washed out pastels either
