For mine, I used 3M Blue Painter's Tape. 1/4" version.

Has to be someone that has painted it. Here's why:

  1. If this were even close to a legit rumor, sites like The Verge, MacRumors, 9to5Mac and Engadget would have reported it a long time ago.
  2. It's not a "Slate" iPhone 5 with different lighting because if you look at the 4th photo, the Power button is most definitely black and the phone is not
  3. The photo quality is terrible, if someone really did have a dark blue iPhone 5S. Then show me the home button and do it in a room with a light on. Not in your parents living room with nasty brown couches.

EDIT: Nevermind, TC already confirmed it as a fake

what is TC?

Isn't it amazing how on almost all "leaked" photos the image quality looks like something from a 90s webcam? There was one the other day with terrible quality, and yet beside the iPhone 5S being photographed there was a digital SLR camera. Apparently the person taking the picture chose to use his 15 year old webcam though.

Hilarious how much people overthought this.....

It's just a slate iPhone 5 in the right lighting. Looks somewhat blue in certain light....

not a 5S, for sure....

home button is 'old style'.....!
