I know this question has been beat to death but now that OLED has been introduced to the non Pro models for a couple of years i would like to ask you guys if you have noticed battery differences between Dark mode and Light mode. I think it is logical to expect that dark mode saves power on OLED phones right? Especially if Auto Brightness is enabled.

Any of you guys notice a difference?

I think it's hard to say.below a certain level of brightness you won't notice any improvements .and if you're in low brightness (even up to 50%) you're either indoors or at night .and I'm that case dark mode is just much more comfortable and pleasing.try it :)

When it does make a difference is if you push the brightness up to its max.then you'll see battery savings.the problem is ,if you are in need of such high Brightness,it must be you're outdoors under the sun ,or in very very well lit environment.and in this case, using light mode is simply better because the contrast works well in such environments.heck,I'd even say that 80% brightness w/ light mode is more readable than 100% dark mode

Well apparently the new OLEDs since 2020 do not turn completely back under certain circumstances.
