Dark mode in Forums

I have dark mode selected on my Mac, running the latest Tahoe version. When I visit MacRumors front page or the forums on Chrome, they're both in dark mode, as expected. However, when I use Safari or Brave, which I prefer, the MacRumors front page is in light mode. I can manually change it to dark, using the link at the bottom of the front page. However, that doesn't change the forums to dark mode, and I don't see a link on forum pages to select dark mode. Am I missing something, or is there no way to change forum pages to dark mode in Safari and Brave?

The front page and forums are controlled separately. The forums toggle is a little button on the right side of the footer.
