Anyone know if there is a dark mode in Pages 10.0? I love reading and writing white text on a black background, but can't seem to find anything in Pages to do that. Am I missing it in a setting somewhere? Thanks!
Dark mode is listed as a feature in Pages 7.2, so however it worked then is how it works now.Anyone know if there is a dark mode in Pages 10.0? That's not possible because Pages works sort of like a page layout program– the app expects that your document will be displayed as it actually looks, regardless of how your computer's display is set.I wan't clear in my original post, and I'm sorry about that. I don't care about the menus and various dialog boxes being dark; I want the actual typing area to be dark with white text. Right now, it's white with black text. I want the opposite, and it's not looking like it can be done.
Yep, and if you don't want to go through the steps to do that...there's actually even a "Basic Black" template that you can use. It's one of the new ones they added with the update. Pretty sure there's a new template just like that in Numbers, as well. This actually is possible with the latest version of Pages 10.0. You can change the background color of the entire page and the set the font color to white. It does not obey your system Dark Mode setting, but accomplishes what you describe.
Blank Black. Haha alright, I was close 😂 😂 😂I just noticed they added a bunch of new templates as well and one of them is Blank Black which is already setup the way you want! See screenshot
