Does anyone have any pics of the dark olive sport loop band? The photos on Apples site are not that great and it looks almost black. Thanks!

Ditto. getting olive loop with my Watch in Oct. received the black sport loop band today, but have not opened it. Sold all my Watches before... just waitin'..

I'm hoping to see one too. I am hoping it is more like the olive nato band I have. I think it is olive and black which is why it looks black on Apple.

Found this picture in the 9to5mac review of the new watch. I'm leaning toward cancelling and just waiting for a black band. I was torn between them originally and went olive, but now it looks like black was a better pick.

It was an in-store pickup order so I don't know when I was charged, or if, but I'm pretty sure I can still cancel.

I did just cancel. Now I'm debating black or light gray. A refund is being issued.

Thanks for posting. Think I’ll stick with the black loop only.
I think both look good, except I’m surprised that the Olive one is the band that comes standard with the Space Grey Aluminium LTE model and not a more pure black band. Thanks for sharing the pic, greatly appreciated.

Looks very different on the Apple site but there was no other dark Sport loop option. I did buy a black Sport loop separately and got it this week. Probably the Nike black sport loop set is what I would want instead. Thinking of cancelling, getting a used Series 2 for half the price and waiting it out. Nike 3 not out for a while anyway, (impulse buy).
I did cancel, I can wait for the frenzy to die down and any kinks fixed, and get it cheaper in a few months.

Love the black sport loop!

All the pictures to date of the olive band are terrible. I see no green in what should be a gree band. I am hoping in person the band is nice.

I can now see a dark olive green color on the edge of the band in this pic from 9to5mac:

IMHO, huge fail on the "Dark Olive" band. You have to look at it in bright sunlight to barely see that the connectors and edges are a faint olive color. 95% of the band is white/silver looking velcro loop material. Here's an image comparing it to an Olive split NATO strap I got from Amazon. I wonder if I can go in and exchange it for the black version.

I don't know why the simple step of color matching the loops to the weaving was not done. Crazy. They can clearly make black loops at the very least!

Well not all olives are the same colour so they aren’t really fooling anyone here by using that name. But I agree the colour on the Apple page isn’t really accurate - I for one think it’s way better IRL

And this type of strap is just amazing - love my black one

Also surprised Apple chose “dark olive” as a default band for Space Gray watch. I would’ve much preferred the black loop.

I was hesitant to buy, sight unseen, but it’s ok. Definitely not what I would call dark anything. More gray in person, and as others have written, depends on lighting.

I wasn’t impressed with the black loop or the nike anthracite black either, that I saw under the display case at the Apple store. But will probably buy the black loop band so I can have an extra loop to wear/swap after washing.

I tried it on the first day and then put it away in the watch box. It will never been seen on my wrist again. The "sport loop band" is not sport friendly because I sweat on the arms and it will absorb any moisture.

I saw one on the apple store yesterday, I'm mixed on the feel of the sport loop. I think they are going for a sweatband type band...much softer than I expected, both inside and out.

As for the Olive, I am disappointed that they didn't match it with a darker color - olive and black or a dark grey would have been better in my opinion.

Just got one on Monday. I like it. I think it pairs well with my SS Series 2.

I really like the dark olive sport loop but it mostly lives on my original silver sport watch as it’s great for sleeping in. I’m really tempted by more sport loop straps now there are new colours though.
