Dark screen on Powerbook boot

When I boot, the screen doesn't come on.. Any way I can drive it to an external display?

Also, when you hold option down, you get a choice of OS.
Anyway to use the keyboard to select which os to boot..

Any help is appreciated.

It's a long story.. but was successful in the end.

Powerbook up and running.

Anyone interested.. it was weird!

Note: Only was a problem because it's a dual boot system..
