There had been some question of whether Apple was going to introduce a dashboard to the iPad. Developer Richard Hong gives us his take on it

Sadly that's just his rendering, and nothing to do with Apple. Although, it's awesome.

Looks pretty boring to me. Is anyone actually going to want to use a Dashboard environment like an app? I don't even use Dashboard on OS X!

I think it would be a lot more useful to have this kind of interface as a way to arrange widgets on the iPad/iPhone lock screen.
