With a fresh install via macOS Recovery on a late 2015 Retina 4K iMac, when using a Magic Trackpad to three finger swipe from Desktop to Dashboard, it will *freeze* on the dashboard; no input is registered besides the mouse cursor movement; clicking on the + button to add dashboard widgets doesn't respond until the Dashboard becomes unfrozen.

Occurs with either many apps or no apps open, and a fresh reboot doesn't fix it - at least not permanently; it behaves normally for about 4 to 5 seconds after a fresh reboot, or 4 to 5 swipes back and forth, THEN the swipe animation freezes randomly (could be mid transition between Dashboard and Desktop, then the freezing occurs consistently and easily repeated)

Very agitating that this bug exists, and very strange.

Sent in a bug report via Apples Feedback system.

    Anyone else experiencing this?

I run Dashboard "As Overlay" in System Preferences > Mission Control, but just tried setting it to "As Space" on a couple systems, not seeing any issues like you're describing. Test in Safe Mode & with a different user account?
