Dashboard gone on mighty mouse

My feature of pushing the track ball on top of my mighty mouse to bring up my dashboard widgets is gone. I went into System Preferences to check and see if somehow that was changed and it wasn't. Does anyone know how I can get this feature back? It was working just a few minutes ago, now it's gone.
