Dashboard not working

Hello,

I am running OS X Yosemite 10.10.1 (pre-release). Dashboard is not working properly (and it never was, not in the betas and not in the release version 10.10.0). I can start Dashboard, but clicking the plus/minus icons produces no reaction whatsoever. I habe tried to restart Dashboard, but to no avail.

Any suggestions?

You have to download the widgets to your computer, then add (or remove) them to Dashboard window using the +/- buttons

Hello,

I have done that (downloaded widgets). But they won’t show up in Dashboard. And Dashboard won’t allow to install either new widgets (per "+"-icon) nor delete old ones (per "-"-icon). It simply shows no reaction to any button-presses.
