dashboard not working

guys,

Somedays ago dashboard stopped working, can anyone give me any hint on what to do... neither the direct link in my dock or the one that is in my applications folder...
any advise?

Applications>>Utilities>> Disk Utility>> then select your disk >> repair permissions.

Thanks, followed the instructions on repairing permissions...still does not work.... any other option?

What OS are you running? have you been playing with your system files? What's the last few things you've installed?

I am on leopard 10.5.4, the last software I installed was candy bar....

Reset your pram.

I don't think resetting the PRAM will do anything other than lose some settings. That's really a last resort. And since he's not really having login issues I doubt it's the PRAM. (but it could be)
