Dashboard probs.

    Hi all

    Well there is now big deal in this.
    - My dashbord is totally blank.
    It's pretty wierd. How can this be? :)

    You haven't run anything to disable Dashboard have you?

    Not as far as i know, but my Libary map got totally screwed some days ago.. Maybe thats the reason :s

    Ohm.. Well i renamed my user-map... And then it got ****ed up.. :s

    I suddenly i had 3 Libary maps.. i did delete 2 of them, and all my settings did reset..

    - Yes i am a newb :)

    Isn't there a place where i can maybe downloade the default settings with the Calculator weather-forecast and so on ? :)

    Put in your OSX disc and see if there is any options to reinstall Dashboard.

    Might be, never checked to be honest.

    Well..

    I've now installed the "xtra applications" on the Mac disc.. Nothing happened..
    - Guess i'll do fine with my dashboard as it is.. Though i would like a Calculator :)

    Are there any other problems from the renaming incident? Maybe have a look through this. If there are a lot of problems still, then maybe look at a quick Archive & Install, too. In future, don't rename anything that you haven't personally created. It's a pretty good rule of thumb I picked up from the wise and illustrious CanadaRAM a while back. :)

    We gotta learn from our mistakes.. - I wil NEVER rename anything i haven't created ;)

    Does anyone know a nice calculator wigdet ? :)
