how is the best way to install widgets?

i have installed any widgets they work fine and install them installs in the appropriate place.... i think?

BUT .... at the bottom of the page where u select the widgets to load i only ever get 2 pages to scroll through... is this a limitation? is it why there are widegts to manage widgets?

It's not a limitation - I have 4 pages of widgets to scroll through.

There are 'widget managers' to make it easier to temporarily disable ones that you're not using (Phone Book for the non-North American user etc) rather than deleting them, or to delete ones you've tried but didn't like.

Best place to put them? Leave the Apple ones in HD/Library/Widgets (if you have more than one user on your machine you can put other ones in there too so that all users can see them), put your personal ones in User (ie your name)/Library/Widgets

thanks. all worked out now. i have 4 pages of top widgets - it just gets better.
