I've been seeing many people have been having some trouble with Dashboard X not only on MacRumors, but on many other websites. I put together this quick Dashboard X Fix "Guide" for those having issues:
Issue: "I installed Dashboard X, but I am now stuck in an endless safe mode boot loop."
Solution: "In safe mode, go to the Dashboard X app and open it up. Navigate to enabled widgets (both of them) and hit the edit button. Delete all that say 'null'. After you edit these, your device should respring and Dashboard X should work."
Issue: "While adding widgets to my springboard, I went into safe mode."
Solution: "Try respringing once, and see if that works. If not, use the above mentioned method to see if any enabled widgets say 'null'. If not, delete all of your Dashboard X widgets in Cydia which were enabled prior to the crash (start with the one which was last added). Continue until your device is out of safe mode. NOTE: After you respring, you can reinstall the widgets. If this method does not work, uninstall Dashboard X to quickly get out of safe mode.
Issue: "My keyboard is laggy."
Solution: "Chances are you have the Nyan Cat widget installed. Uninstall this widget and install the NC Nyan Cat, and put it in your notification center if you must have Nyan Cat
Issue: "I rejailbroke my device after installing some Dashboard X widgets, and now Dashboard X won't work when it did before."
Solution: "See the first solution."
Issue: "My springboard is continuously respringing randomly."
Solution: "You most likely have too many widgets installed on your springboard. Delete some (especially ones like Nyan Cat which increase the chances of crashes)."
Issue: "The Music Player widget has the controls over the end of the widget in portrait-- it looks weird."
Solution: "Simply turn your iPad to landscape and back to portrait-- fixed (until a respring/ reboot)."
Issue: "I can't install any widgets from the Cydia store-- I keep getting errors."
Solution: "Go to the changes section and hit reload. Let everything load (could take a while). Go into multitasking and kill Cydia. Open it back up and repeat once more. Try downloading now. If it is not working, keep on trying to download-- eventually it should work."
Hope this helps people
