I have "The Weather Channel" widget and every time I click on it, it crashes my Dashboard Client. In trying to fix the problem I was going to get rid of the widget and re-download it but I can't find it anymore.

Has this widget been removed? Is this why it's crashing the client?

I'm also experiencing this as of yesterday. Same widget, same experience, first problem I've ever had with it. Strange.

That's odd. Have you looked in ~/Library/Widgets for the widget file?

I don't see it in the directory but it's still in the list of widgets I can choose. This is super confusing since I didn't delete or remove the file. Even more so, is that there are some widgets I have on my desktop like Fetch which I can't find in that directory either but seem to work without issue.

Same thing here on 2 different machines. The widget seems to have been removed from apple.com as well.

Perhaps The Weather Channel started uploading pornographic maps and Apple pulled it for violating its SDK?
