dashcode web app -- font resizing on phone rotate

I've built an iphone web app in dashcode using the browser template, and I'm having a problem that my font size sometimes changes when I rotate the phone.

Basically, it only happens when the component is bigger than the size of the screen. So, I can have a short paragraph and a large paragraph, and when I flip the phone, the large paragraph gets a larger font-size while the smaller paragraph says the same size.

I flip the phone back, and the text for the bigger paragraph still stays large.

This is a problem also for my edge to edge lists. Has anyone else dealt with this before? 😕

Edit: I forgot to mention, in the HTML, I've set the maximum-scale to 1.0
