Hi i am new to macs and this will be my first dvd i burn. I want to back up songs on my harddrive to a dvd (probably ill write it as data dvd by creating a burn folder) and then intend to play it on my sisters windows PC.
I was wondering if thats possible! I was doubtful about the fact that the file system for mac is different from windows, so will a data dvd written in mac work on windows?

Hmm, I'm not too sure. If all you're doing is copying the MP3's to the DVD then it really shouldn't matter about the file system, the PC should be able to read the MP3's
Don't quote me on that but it should be alright

It will work just fine. The disk is burned in UDF, abd the files are universal as well.
