I'm new to Mac and using Office 2008. I had a nice grasp on Excel for XP, but now I'm just confused. Where did all the chart options go? How, for example, do I put labels on the X and Y axes? And the big question....I can put 1001 shadows and effects on my data labels, but I have no idea how to make those data labels actually useful. Is there a way in Office '08 to label each point with text from another column in the same worksheet? (i.e. if I'm graphing columns A and B, and there's a point (0,3) for A2 and B2, then have the point display "Billy" from C2). Thanks!

Thanks! I actually figured out the axes labeling problem (that was pretty simple)....but now the big question, what do I do if I want to label the individual data points with something besides the numbers that are being graphed?

Just to clarify, it's an x-y scatter plot. Each point is associated with a name in another column, and I want to be able to plot each name next to the associated point.
