Straighttalk Unlimited data is bogus!!

I signed for the $45 unlimited minutes, text and web. The iPhone web browsing was only used for FB and Amazon. I asked for $15 refund as the difference without the data plan. Guess what? They said I violated the data usage level. Below is ST customer service email to me:

"Please be informed that the data throughput speed for your phone has
been reduced because your current data usage levels violate sections 6
and 7 of the Straight Talk Terms and Conditions of Service.
"

What?? Ano daw??(customer service is from Philippines). I was happy before to be able to port iPhone to ST and was telling friends who said they will also get ST. Now, I told them not to, and I am telling everyone who can read this that do not get the $45 with unlimited web browsing. It's false, bogus and non-existent!!! And if you can, stay away from Straighttalk. Just get the Tmo's unlimited data for $30 and you will be happier!

T-mobile data is not unlimited. They give you 5gb and throttle you after that. Jump over to sprint and enjoy unlimited dialup. Learn to control usage if you are a cheap skate or pay double and enjoy AT&T, Verizon or Sprint.

Also how about you quote the fact that it only has 100 minutes and roaming is limited versus straight talk

My girlfriend is now having this issue, she has an iPhone 4S on ios 6 and it was working perfect, but now her internet or iMessage isnt working but her FaceTime is fine...is a fix available?

Threads like this are turning me off to the whole MNVO thing settings don't work, data disabled on a whim, and they come and go far too frequently. I do believe Straight Talk might be around for a while since Wal-mart backs it though.

I got very frustrated with Straight Talk. Had them for 3 months and finally ported back to AT&T last night.

Straight Talk doesn't work, it doesn't have LTE, their HSPA+ is throttled by AT&T, and it's not really unlimited if you get kicked out after you go over 2.5-3gb.

I have a FAN discount through my employer and I got the most basic plan there is for my iPhone 5. $39.99 voice and $30 for 3GB of LTE. Text messaging I disabled because mostly it's iMessage, Whatsapp, Facebook anyway.

Straight Talk was $45, AT&T will be around $65. I'm glad to pay an extra $20 for peace of mind and not having to deal with Straight Talk's terrible service.

I was thinking about cutting the cost of my phone bill but all of this hassle isn't worth it. I'll stay with Sprint until T-mobile gets LTE in Dallas.
