Has anyone being able to remove the data plan from the iPhone? I heard two people so far, but I want to make sure before I jump on the grenade and talk to ATT CS.

I just talked to AT&T.

The non-data data plan is $40.00 a month.

So you can remove the data plan, but it then defaults to the non-data data plan.

Can you elaborate a little? Do you mean it just pushes you to whatever voice plan you have signed up for, as in 39.95 for ATT? Thanks in advance.
