My Seagate Backup Plus External Hard Drive recently broke. The 3TB hard drive still spins but when i i remove it from the Seagate plastic and connect it to my PC utilizing at IDE - USB converter plug i am given a message that states i need to format.
The data on this drive is very important personal data. Is there a tool (preferably free) that can scan the drive and recover my data?
