iPod touch Data to iPod touch

Does anyone know how to get an instruction manual transferred from a CD or computer to the iPod Touch.
I just got the touch and am trying to learn how to do things and sometimes the manual doesn't tell me how to do them.

I think you might be thinking, that the ipod touch might act as a flash drive, but as far as I know, the ipod touch, does not save files like the ipod shuffle, in storage mode.

You have to rip and import the CD's into iTunes, and then you can sync it with your iPod touch after it is in iTunes.

There's a program called AirSharing which allows you to transfer PDF files from your computer to iPod Touch. I use it to transfer bus schedules to my iPod Touch. Very nice program and not expensive.
