I've transferred my data from my old MacBook (which is running 10.6.8) to my new MacBook Pro by using Migration Assistant. However, when the transfer was nearly done, the connection was lost and the transfer stopped. I would love to know how I could find out which things didn't get transferred to the Pro, and how to to move only them over so that the transfer is complete.
See, I don't have a Fire or Thunderbolt wire, so the transfer takes forever. As such, I would really prefer not to have to start over again.
Thank you!

Other than going through and comparing the files side-by-side on the two drives, I don't know how you would go about it. The most thorough way would be to just let the migration assistant run again. You could start it right before you go to bed and let it run all night while you sleep.
