Hi guys please help me out here. every time my data runs out even though i have every possible connection turned off. i have noticed that my emails and certain apps still update how is this possible?

What method are you using to turn off all data?

iv turned off back ground data as well as background app refresh. iv even turned off the icloud. they stay off permanently

Turn off cellular data.

I keep cellular data on (for whatsapp and facebook) every other app is turned off

You need to go into settings and hit updates and turn automatic updates off
