Database Program

I jumped ship from a PC to an IMAC. While on the PC I used ACT as a database program and I am looking for a MAC program similar to ACT. What I really liked aobut ACT was the ID Status field where I could assign a contact a certain ID Status like Doctor, Home Repair, Client, Prospect and etc.
 
So you want a contact manager? You can start with Address Book. You may also try Microsoft Entourage 2004 within the Office suite (please don't). You may survey the contact managers listed here.
