Database Schema Design Software

Anyone know any free software for drawing up database schema's? Just need something pretty basic for quick reference when working and at the moment I end up writing them on a piece of paper.

I would think any type of flow chart editor would work, so NeoOffice or OpenOffice probably have that functionality in their version of PowerPoint.
