hi everyone,
i have mac os 10.2.8 running on my imac 400 for quite some time. since a few weeks the time and date changes back to 1970 everytime i start up.
can someone tell me how to fix this problem.

I reckon it'll just be a flat battery. Here are instructions on how to replace it in the original iMac. I'm not sure if they're relevant but I couldn't find anything for newer G3 iMacs so I assume it's similar. 🙂

Here's how you do it on a slot-loading iMac. Pics 8) and 9) show the battery location to the left of the picture. Take it from me, make sure you use a magnetic screwdriver for the shield screws. I lost one inside my iMac once and had to take the entire thing to pieces to get the damn thing out.
