Everytime I sync my 8gb Touch with iTunes, it resets the date and time to some random time.

Right now it has it set to 8:50AM, 2/2/07, and yesterday do 4:XX PM, 5/6/07.

I keep putting it back to the right time, but the issue doesn't seem to go away.

Any thoughts?

I've been having this happen on a fairly regular basis, but certainly not every time. In fact, it just happened now as I was synching my ipod and browsing the forum (reset to 1:55 on Friday (its Sunday)).

I have hacked my ipod using the fairly simple method on another computer (as opposed to the newer one-touch (pardon the pun) program that you go to directly on your ipod or the very complex method that was the first way to hack). I imagine this has had some effect. Also, I installed the update to the calendar to add events (rather than just install the iphone program seperately).

It's frustrating not to be able to count on it as a clock, but it gets so off on time its obvious when something has gone wrong.
