Date Smart Search in Finder Windowes

Did the smart searches in the Finder Window for "Today," "Yesterday," "Past Week," get nixed in Lion, or do I have to turn that feature on somehow?

Yes please help me with this. I've tried "All My Files" --> Sort by Date Last Opened but for some reason this is not the same. It doesn't catch every file that I open. SL "Today" and "Yesterday" was perfect - I want this feature back!
