Dating Advice for Injured Man

i'd tell her about it ahead of time so she's not scared and then maybe bring one of those tight fighting touques to hide the bandages and stuff. tell her you're wearing it so she doesn't get grossed out. she'll dig that.

keep us posted as to how it goes.

I agree with Mad Jew; this is an awesome ice breaker for a relationship. Plus, if you begin dating her looking all messed up, you'll only get better and better looking to her as the relationship goes on.

I really would give her a heads up on the whole situation first though. You don't want shock to be the first thing she associates with you on your first date.
 
I'd wear a hat or work your hair to kind of minimize the appearance.......

but at the same time:

chicks dig scars.

Like people have said, tell her ahead of time, and just go on the date. She wouldn't cancel a date because of this. Not a chance. The most she'll do is ask if you want to set another date for your....erm...date together. She won't do this because of the possibility of seeing something slightly gross, but rather because she's concerned about your well-being.

I doubt the girl will care at all. You probably care more about the bandage and stitches than she does. Don't act self-conscious about it, either. Girls are actually less grossed out by blood and stuff than men generally.
 
Not meaning to sound gay but you are a pretty attractive guy.

Obviously clean off the blood and put a nice new discreet "patch" on it and you will look fine. It's really not that bad.
 
Tell her ahead of time. Its really no big deal. Besides, as mentioned before, chicks dig scars. You may need to spice up your story a bit though... something that starts just a little over the top, then gets more and more crazy as you continue to the point where its impossible that you are telling the truth. You will have her intrigued at the beginning and then it ends up as a joke and you both get a laugh out of it and the stitches themselves are trivialized. Brilliant.😀
