He has definitely been reimbursed (!) for his time - and this is how all influencers make money. Look at the change in his tone, language and rhetoric - his script and delivery have definitely been vetted by Apple’s PR. Anyone in marketing can see it a mile off.

It's not like it is a big secret that YouTube revenue and ads go hand in hand.

I don't really see an issue with his video. He states that even the Dell has a higher baseline speed and that he wishes the thermal solution was better for the i9. He's being realistic. They addressed the major issue he reported and he knows a ultra thin laptop that is dead quite is going to be limited.

With MKBHD and Jonathan Morrison is even easier to spot Apple's PR.

I have asked Dave2d in a comment to his followup video to make another addressing Bootcamp.

Bootcamp is still a gigantic throttling mess!

There's more than just gaming to windows including needing it to run Premiere better.

I'm sure a fix for Boot Camp is coming.

I'm confused. His first video was a complete SLAM against Apple... pointing out serious flaws in their latest laptop. No company wants that!

Oh I agree that we should all be wary of "Youtube Influencers"

But I don't think this particular series of events was "paid for" or "scripted" by Apple.

What I saw was:

Here's a problem ---> Here's Apple's solution
