David Pogue's view of iMovie '08

On a positive note, I really like the Export to Youtube option. Saves me a lot of time. I noticed that saving videos is a lot quicker in '08!

I have no reason to even buy iLife products anymore. I have better Apps than iLife offers anyway.

iTunes (Not included in iLife anymore anyway)
Aperture (Better than any iPhoto)
Logic Express (Way better than GarageBand)
iMovie '06 (Still got it from iLife '06)
Toast Titanium 7 (Works fine for burning DVDs and I don't usually use custom menus)

Actually iTunes is still included -- look at the box.

That MacDailyNews piece was piss poor. They actually justified all of the feature reduction by basically saying that people were taking advantage of Apple. Talk about total fanboy nonsense.
