I understand that the name "Zero Connect Box" is a stab at Samsung's "One Connect Box" but most people aren't going to get that and evening knowing that first thing I think of is it having no connection.

I would love a powered mask alone, have no requirement for headphones that the max don’t fulfill. I’m stuck with using 3M Aura masks till there’s such a product. Air quality should be taken up more often

Zero-connect. Hmmm, presumably I don’t need to connect to a power so then, it runs on an internal infinite supply of pixie-dust?

I'm interested to know how they accomplish meetings the needs of 4K 120Hz data transfer over wireless, which is a hefty 25Gbps. I would guess they are using multiple Tx radios and many Rx antennas. They don't go into detail, they just say cutting edge wireless technology, but it clearly states it can push 4K at 120hz, which is 25Gbps with 8-bit color. Bump that up to 10-bit and you're at 33Gbps. I guess they could also be using hardware compression, but I don't think they could get away with that in real-time.

No HEPA filtration,

As someone very sensitive to air pollution that results in breathing difficulties, this looks very promising.

Their website says that it uses an electrostatic filter. There are various MERV numbers on the web for electrostatic filter efficiency ranging from 20% to 80%. HEPA filters generally are around 99.97%. Dyson claims 99% efficiency for particles. I question their "independent third-party laboratory" results.

This is just for particulates. VOCs are a totally different matter. They are normally captured by activated carbon but it turns out that there is no substrate that captures all chemicals. Home filters, such as Austin, use Activated Carbon, Potassium Iodide Impregnated Carbon and Zeolite but still don't catch everything. There may be 20 pounds of substrates in one of these filters.

They also say that it is a directed air flow which implies to me that there is no actual seal around the nose and mouth. With no seal you will still be breathing in untreated air.

Might offer some relief to the sensitive but I wouldn't buy without a return option.

The zero connect TV sounds promising. Lag free 4K video transmission tech would be wonderful if it were built into all TVs and all phones/portable games consoles one day.

Never mind the Dyson.
What about the roller blades?
For half a second I thought I read "Eve showed off new roller blades, and OWC demoed the first Thunderbolt 4 dock"🤣

Apple and Dyson must have an ongoing bet on who can market the most ridiculously overpriced form-over-function device to their fans. I think Dyson is winning this one so far, but I'm sure Apple will take the lead once the new Mac Pro is announced.

$949 headphones? 🤣

And here I thought Apple's AirPods Max at $549 was overpriced.

Now you can both look and feel foolish walking around with these $949 Dyson's 🤣

To be fair getting both headphones and a portable headset vacuum in the same device for under $1000 is quite a feat.

And here I thought they would purify some of the crappy music I hear being played nowadays.

Yea yea yea , so full of **** , have you even tried it before you make such claim ?

Stop making lameass excuses when you don’t agree with or just don’t want to buy something

I’m grateful that dyson has made my dream product came true

I have been doing what you said since 2010

All these years buying all kinds of ANC headphone and masks

and I believe the dyson zone creates the air bubble zone without sealing up my face would feel much more comfortable if you are wearing for 2+ hours

Not to mention the strap of these

Respirator Mask doesn’t feel good at all to wear especially for an extended period of time

Whether or not I can afford them is not the issue. It's the fact that you can buy just-as-good headphones from Bose (700) or Sony (WH-1000XM4 or WH-1000XM5) for at least $150 less. So in that regard, yes, I say they're overpriced as I don't think the AirPods Max are $150 better than what Bose or Sony offer.
Yea yea yea , so full of crap ,

Stop making lameass excuses when you just don’t want to / cant afford to buy something

I’m grateful that dyson has made my dream product came true

blah blah blah dyson headphone is overpriced ,after all your crap you haven't mentioned any alternative of any other personal air purifier that even come close to Dyson zone ??
