It’s been good. I can’t really give you numbers because I typically throw it on the charger when I’m showering or sitting on the couch watching some tv. This allows me to wear it all night so I can use the alarm and see my HR values overnight. It takes the biggest hit when I’m running and listening to music. That’s to be expected though.

I think that's one the biggest advantages right now with the Series 3 Apple Watch, is able to stream music and running without your iPhone.

My main worry is that I use my Fitbit as a silent alarm; something that my wife would not let me give up. I need to know that I can wear the watch overnight and it have enough battery for it to be there to wake me in the morning.
I can only speak for series two and zero but if you charge the watch for at least an hit before bedtime you should be ok. My wife uses it as her alarm clock. But she is religious about taking it off when she gets home, charging it, and then putting it on sometime before bed. In reality it sits for more than an hour but I’ve found my own watch charges damn near full in about that time. And that’s it depleted. I’ve gone two days without a charge.

Sure thing. Be sure to turn sound off (red bell icon) on your watch before going to sleep though or else you'll hear the watch chime for your alarm.

Well that didn’t work either. Now the alarm didn’t go off at all. No vibration even though I confirmed it was set on the watch. When I woke up on my own the alarm was silently going off.

I had the red icon on, the do not disturb and the movie theater icon.

What did I do wrong?

Thanks
