Day/Date/Time When Screen Off?

I notice with a Samsung today that even when the phone screen is off the day/date/time and battery % is present on screen.

Is this possible with an iPhone? any app?...or maybe only if jailbroken?

Is this possible with an iPhone? any app?...or maybe only if jailbroken?

Potentially with some jailbrake tweaks, or with some apps that you can run and leave on the screen that keep your phone awake (which will use up the battery much quicker, unless you are plugged in basically).
