Day to Day log in

Why can't I just stay logged in on these Mac forums. I've been registered for a long time now but almost every day to either post or reply I have to put my user name and password in? I check the box to remember me, but it doesn't. Is it supposed to work this way? It happens in all the MacRumors sites that I go into. I couldn't see a way to contact the moderator or whomever handles this.

Using what browser? Safari on Mavericks works perfectly on MR for me.

Try clearing out your cookies and cache of your browser. Also look in Keychain Access for any keys related to the site and ensure they're set up properly.

I would certainly clear your browser's cache and cookies and delete any MacRumors passwords in keychain. Then log into the site, checking the box to stay logged in. It should work fine. I stay logged in for weeks or months at a time, unless I specifically clear cookies.

I'm usually logged in on three devices at a time. I hardly ever have to log in. Maybe once or twice a year.
