Hi Chappers! I'd prefer to move to EST but people in Scotland say that it'll be too dark in the mornings if we do, and I can understand their point. A number of years ago we moved briefly to EST and there was something of a media campaign against it. Don't know why. Apparently there was a story in one of the papers about how a lorry had run into some school children in the dark on their way to school that was completely fabricated.
My Mum says we had double summer time during WW2 but she can't remember whether the clocks went forward two hours at once or it was staggered.
